What is EMDR?
EMDR is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. Repeated studies show that by using EMDR therapy, people can experience the benefits of psychotherapy that once took years to make a difference.
Who is it for?
EMDR therapy is used to treat a wide range of difficulties including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and phobias. It is particularly effective for single-incident trauma and for complex developmental trauma.
The approach
Dr Jacquet integrates EMDR with Jungian analysis and somatic awareness, offering a depth of processing that goes beyond symptom reduction.
